Years after a young boy goes missing and is declared dead, a detective reopens the case in an attempt to heal her own wounds.

Though a crime story at its core, this is a heart-wrenching story of two mothers coming together to help one another piece together their lives after tragedy. Relationships between the missing boy's mother and the detective, between the detective and the local cop, and between the boy's brother and his family makes the ending scene all that much more terrifying.
